"Where life began"
A

story behind my early painting with the same name.
I have always had a fascination with space. Growing up
in the desert and sleeping on the roof of my parents'
home in the summer nights was common in those days, as
nights in the desert were cooler than the indoor
bedrooms.
Many nights, laying on my back in my bed with my eyes
wide open, gazing at the star-studded clear night skies
with the Milky way sweeping across as far as my eyes
could see, not batting an eye to not miss any falling
stars and meteoroids sweeping across, in the backdrop of
the many mythical stories about the Milky Way and the
cloud of gases surrounding the stars creating what I was
told is the highway to heaven.
I have painted many fantasy space paintings inspired by
those mind-inspiring nights. Also, not so long ago, and
before the CAD, I was one of NASA’s artists creating
technical space visuals depicting their Space Shuttle
and a variety of satellites with space backdrops.
To my delight, today, July 11the, 2022, NASA's James
Webb Space Telescope can see all the way back to the
"Big Bang," released its mind-bending test images with
the best yet to come. A major positive human advancement
should further humble us to know we are lucky to be
living in our vast and eternal universe to witness this
groundbreaking piece of technology as not so long-ago
humans still lived in the dark ages with hardly any
major technological and informational advancements.
